From December 13 to December 15, in the framework of the World Bank project “Ferghana valley rural enterprise development: Business incubation and acceleration for start-ups”, Fergana hosted the first face-to-face training sessions for mentors from Andijan, Namangan and Fergana.

This seminar gathered as participants more than 30 representatives and leading employees of the innovation area of the Fergana Valley, who in the future will be directly a key link in the development of young entrepreneurs and startups in the region, providing them with support in training, mentoring and other areas of development of small and medium-sized businesses, such as marketing, sales, competent construction of a business plan and its implementation, market entry, crowdfunding and financing, and much more.The main trainers of the seminar were Aritz Goni, head of international projects and senior expert in the field of innovation management, and Farkhod Jabbarov, an international expert in the field of small and medium–sized business development and a business coach.

From December 20 to 22, the second part of the training took place, which took place in an online format, where topics such as acceleration models, small and medium-sized business management, innovation strategy and criteria for evaluating the potential of projects were considered.
