The “Modernization of Agriculture” project was initiated in August 2020. It will be implemented in the period until 2026. The development goals of the project include increasing the productivity of agricultural services and promoting value-added market chains in horticulture. The project comprises four components: enhancing the productivity of agricultural services; supporting investments in value-added chains in horticulture; facilitating trade and marketing; and supporting project management.

Within this project, there is Subcomponent 1.3 – Improving natural resource management, the aim of which is to raise farmers’ awareness of their soil, water, and biological hazards, and achieve success in replacing general recommendations with recommendations based on soil/water resource testing and the application of environmentally safe agricultural practices.
