
The assignment was completed under the “Dairy Value Development Project”. The main objective of the project is to increase the financial stability and profitability of dekhkan, livestock farms, as well as enterprises engaged in the production and processing of milk and dairy products in the project regions. The DVCDP Goal is to improve the livelihood of rural people (women and men) in Uzbekistan. The Development Objective of the programme is: productivity, competitiveness, commercial farmer linkages and market access of smallholder dairy farms increased. As part of the project, the preparation was planned to train local specialists (trainer), smallholder dekhans and households, farmers, milk processors and veterinarians on. The included preparing the training and capacity materials as well. Additional technical support was provided to the PMU and project beneficiaries through the training of 3 local specialists from each project region who will organize further trainings for project beneficiaries in the Djizzakh region.
