
The project had an objective to support the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in strengthening national capacity and attract international expertise to support the process of Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO, as well as to build the productive and export potential of niche products in agriculture, agro-industrial, and other employment-promoting and potentially green sectors, with the aim of contributing to more economically, socially and environmentally sustainable growth patterns. More specific aim of the project was to increase productive capacity and develop trade by identifying niche products that can contribute to greening / greening local production, as well as improving the quality and quantity of jobs, especially for women and youth living in rural areas. The mentorship program for women entrepreneurs and youth in the Republic of Uzbekistan has the purpose of developing and implementing mentoring programs to develop entrepreneurship among women and youth in specified production areas through the development of women and youth entrepreneurship in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
